FIRE ALARM INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN FOR KILLEEN – 1/23/2004
 
J M Electronic Engineering, Inc. is a well established 40 year old company with high standards in the industry of sales and service of fire alarm, security, suppression, nurse call, cameras and access control systems. Our continued growth and success has produced a need for a talented service/installation technician in our Abilene Area.

Responsibilities:
· Perform installations on low voltage electronic systems.
· Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational/product manuals.
· Carry and move equipment and tools weighing up to 40 pounds. The Installer will work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, high lift equipment up to 40 ft, working within ducts, crawl spaces above ceiling, etc. Must comply with safety guidelines at all times.
· Use a variety of company provided hand and power tools to install all required boxes, wiring panels, digital dialers, devices, and other fire, sound, or security peripheral equipment as directed and/or specified.

Qualifications:
· 3 yrs+ experience in the fire/security field
· Must have Texas State Fire Marshal License for FAL or higher
· Texas State Fire Marshal License for Class A and B a plus
· Computer skills necessary
· Valid U.S. drivers license with a good driving record
· Must be a self-starter who can work independently with little supervision
· Excellent communication skills
· Security & background check is required
