The new $185 million Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center located on I-35 in Waco, Texas features 478,665 SF of new medical center and women’s and children’s hospital. The facility boasts 236 beds with rooms that are designed to feel more like a hotel than a hospital. Since this new hospital has more than 500 employees, Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center wanted a complete access control system throughout the hospital and women’s and children’s center. The system has over 175 card reader controlled access doors and more than 60 video surveillance system cameras. The two systems are networked to the sister campus on Herring Ave.
